The Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association (MCCA) has acted to return surplus funds to Michigan policyholders and will begin the process of refunding $400 per vehicle to Michigan drivers. Drivers are expected to receive checks or an ACH deposit in the second quarter of 2022.

Most companies will be sending check directly to customers with the notation MCCA refund posted on it and those should be received anywhere from mid March to May 1st. Keep in mind, these check are coming directly from the insurance companies after the MCCA refunds the companies. It will not be coming from our offices.
